
Keerthy Mysore

Keerthy started his career in Drives, Automation and Power. After brief stints with Leeds & Northrup and Siemens in India and Voith Turbo in Australia, he started Shakti Corp in 1999. Based in Sydney, Australia, he has specialised in Functional Safety since 2005.
Keerthy is a Functional Safety Engineer (TÜV Rheinland) in Safety Instrumented Systems, Hardware + Software Design and Machinery and a Technis Reliability and Functional Safety Engineer. In the field of Industial Cybersecurity, he is a ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Risk Assessment Specialist.

David Macdonald
BSc (Hons) Instrument Engineering
David has specialised for the past 10 years in providing training and consulting services in hazard studies and functional safety systems. After a career in the manufacturing and chemical industries, starting in the UK and subsequently in South Africa, David worked with IDC Technologies in the development and presentation of training workshops and webinars in safety instrumentation, hazard studies and machinery safety. He is the author of 3 training manuals in these subjects which feature the practical application of the international standards: IEC/AS 61508, IEC/AS 61511 and IEC/AS 62061.
David has considerable experience in process instrumentation and associated emergency shutdown systems. He has consulted on the planning and evaluation of numerous process and machine safety applications in South Africa and Australia.

Matthias Weber
Dipl.-Ing. Electrical Engineering
Matthias started his career as a Research Associate at Technische Universitat Darmstadt, where he developed Simulation and Measurement Methodologies for Vehicles and Combustion Engines.
After a short stint at AVL in Graz he joined Continental Engineering Services in 2006, where he directed multiple projects in the area of Passenger Cars and Commercial Vehicle Powertrains. This also included alternative solutions like Electrical Drivetrains for Cars and Trucks. He successfully delivered these products complying with State of the Art quality phase gate processes and according to safety standards.
Matthias left Continental in 2015 to start Roben Automotive based in Rowne, Poland and specialises in facilitatation of Functional Safety Management.
