Keerthy started his career in Drives, Automation and Power. After brief stints with Leeds & Northrup and Siemens in India and Voith Turbo in Australia, he started Shakti Corp in 1999. He has specialised in Functional Safety since 2005.
Based in Sydney Australia, Keerthy is a Functional Safety Engineer (TÜV Rheinland), a Technis Reliability and Functional Safety Engineer and an ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Expert.
David Macdonald
BSc (Hons) Instrument Engineering

David started his career in the manufacturing and chemical industries specialising in Process Instrumentation and Emergency Shutdown Systems, starting in the UK and subsequently in South Africa, David worked with IDC Technologies in the development and presentation of training workshops and webinars in safety instrumentation, hazard studies and machinery safety. He is the author of 3 training manuals in these subjects which feature the practical application of the international standards: IEC/AS 61508, IEC/AS 61511 and IEC/AS 62061.
David Macdonald is based in Cape Town, South Africa and is our Functional Safety Guru.
Matthias Weber

Matthias started his career as a Research Associate at Technische Universitat Darmstadt, where he developed Simulation and Measurement Methodologies for Vehicles and Combustion Engines.
After a short stint at AVL in Graz he joined Continental Engineering Services in 2006, where he directed multiple projects in the area of Passenger Cars and Commercial Vehicle Powertrains including Electrical Drivetrains for Cars and Trucks. He successfully delivered these products complying with State-of-the-Art quality phase gate processes and according to safety standards.
Matthias founded Roben Automotive in 2015 who we partner with in Europe.
Matthias is based in Rowne, Poland and is our Functional Safety Management Consultant.
Marcel Romijn
Dipl.-Ing. Electrical Engineering

Marcel is a specialist in OBD, Functional Safety and Quality processes followed with a special interest in automotive and off-highway industries. For a few years, he worked at FEV Europe as the Deputy Department Manager for all Diesel Powertrains OBD & Diagnostics on all markets.
In 2018 he founded Roben Automotive – The Netherlands, who we partner with in Europe, where he targets OBD, Diagnostics, Functional Safety, and Cybersecurity, using his automotive systems knowledge and experience in robust design to comply with standards and regulations.
Marcel is based in The Netherlands and is our Cybersecurity Consultant.
